Whilst waiting for John and Marcus and whoever else to give me the pictures from the Valentine’s Day and Picnic, (hint, hint – and “no, thank you”, I don’t want to curi from Face book:p), I’d like to try this on our youth.

I read an article in last week’s Weekender about Smith Magazine’s Six Word Memoirs where people were invited to tell a real life story in just 6 words.

Its sad, but about 70% of the submissions received were about heartbreak. Some of the ones on love and heartbreak are:

“Married a hottie, Divorced a hothead”

“Met him online. Blogged our divorce”

“I cleaned. He cleaned me out”

“Not quite what I was planning”

“Ex-wife and contractor now have house”

“Girlfriend is pregnant, my husband said”

“In and out of hot water”

On a happier note:

“He still needs me at sixty-four”

“Our prison visits were surprisingly romantic”

“I still make coffee for two”

Now, how about you?

Lets have something happier, shall we?

Erm, I’ll start by saying

“He happily orders food for me”

“We snort at the same time”
