Hey everybody, there are 2 people we really need to pray for

1)  Uncle Barry Khaw Yong Huat, KENG LIK’s father, is in hospital.  He has some chest pain but the doctors still do not know what is wrong with him.  He is now at the General Hospital, Level 5, Bed 2 at the CRW (Coronary Rehabilitation Ward – Wad Pemulihan Jantung).  Please note that visitation hours on weekends are from 12.30-7.30pm but visitation hours on weekdays are 12-2pm and 4.30-7.30pm

Pray for wisdom for the doctors to diagnose him accurately.  They will be running further tests tomorrow.

Pray also that his discomfort and pain may ease.

Pray for speedy recovery

Pray for Keng Lik, Keng Yearn, Ching Ai, Cheng Fern and Cheng Li as well as Aunty Say Yem – pray that they may have the peace of God in their hearts and that their faith in Him may be strengthened.

Pray that Uncle Barry may experience a touch from God and know the reality of God’s salvation through this experience.

Pray that he may experience God’s love through our prayers.

2)  Soo Churn Haw, youth leader from Melawati Gospel Centre, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Please pray for quick recovery and healing.

hi guys. this is joyce from mgc. just want to clarify some things regarding churn haw. the biopsy results aren’t out yet so the stage of cancer is still unknown. he has not decided yet what will be the next step so it is also not confirmed whether or not he will be going for chemotherapy. we are not assuming anything because the doctor has not said anything regarding the stage of the cancer. so right now we just know for sure that the cells are malignant, we are waiting for the biopsy results and churn haw’s decision for the next the step. i’d appreciate it that the info on this post be corrected. thanks so much for your prayers and support. we really appreciate it. it truly is an encouragement to churn haw, his family and our church.=)

oh and one more thing. the doctor said that the chances of him recovering 100% are very high because he is still very young and he can fight it. so we can remain very positive about this. =)

joiz3: thanks for the correction and update – sorry for the wrong info earlier – should have checked with the family first. However, please let him know that we are praying for him and the family. (Actually, we don’t know how to contact him) Oh, and the news from the doctor is fantastic!

i can give you his number (to sms/call to ask him how is he and encourage him) or his girlfriend’s (it’s better to call her to find out about details such as when’s the best time to visit and all because it’s better to not bother him about such things) number. just let me know how can i send it privately to you because i don’t want to post their numbers publicly on the internet.
