Hello all, there will be another combined youth meeting, and here are the details:
Date: 1st November (Saturday)
Time: 4:30pm
Venue: CMC (Christ Methodist Church)
Please meet at AGC by 3:30pm to avoid the traffic jam and be punctual for the CMC meeting.
There will be a speaker called David Chong, from Malaysian Care, coming to speak to us on a certain topic. Details on what to bring and where to rendezvous before proceeding to CMC are not available now, so watch this post for edit updates.
P.S: Christ Methodist Church is the church our youth previously visited to hear Juwita Suwito speak. It is located in the Korean Village near Ampang Gospel Center. You can click here to see a map.

We had a FABULOUS time. Many thanks to Jee Yann for coming up with the game plan and for coming early to start filling up the water balloons, and to some others who came after that to help. It was a lot of work!
See this place? Well, we need to thank my neighbour, Pit, for kindly allowing us to use his land next to my house for the game – I think the place really added value to the game.
The guys who helped to bring all the balloons to the playing area.
Kingsley is “all business”.
Score keeper, Jessica.
One of the referees, Winson.
Jee Yann, the brains behind it all.
Another referee, David.
The Flour element was introduced halfway through the game.
Joy having fun.
Calvin having even MORE FUN!!
Bridget looks really serious.
Sebastian Stallone?
Wai Kit having his bath.
Update: Here are some videos!

Okay, this is a water game. Expect to get wet/soaked after playing. No exceptions. So, please be sensible, and bring a change of clothes AND towels. Also, wear appropriately; running around in soaked jeans is very tiring.
dormiens edit:
T’was good to see many people turned up for the games. And I sincerely hope you guys enjoyed yourselves. The pictures are put up on facebook, so for those who have an account, there are three photo albums. Enjoy.
Cell Group Celebration: Water Fight October 19, 2008
Posted by allany in Announcements, Happenings.2 comments
WE ARE HAVING A CELEBRATION THIS SATURDAY.
We feel we need to celebrate God’s goodness to us.
We need to celebrate the commitment of those who have been coming every week.
We need to celebrate the commitment of the cell leaders and the core members.
We need to celebrate the presence of those who still join us even though they can’t be with us every week.
We need to celebrate those who have come even once in this entire year.
So how are we going to do it?
We’ll be having a time of games and POT BLESS MAKAN after that!
The games will take the form of a water balloon fight and maybe even water balloon captain ball? I guess you only need to know that YOU WILL BE GETTING VERY WET! So don’t wear white. Mwhahaha. So bring along a change of clothes and also CALL your leader to find out what your group is having for food.
WHERE WILL WE GO?
Venue: Uncle Allan and Aunty Veron’s home at Dataran Hillview
Time: 5 – 7pm
Date: THIS COMING SATURDAY, 25th October 2008
See you there. Don’t miss out!
Please pray October 11, 2008

Hey everybody, there are 2 people we really need to pray for
1) Uncle Barry Khaw Yong Huat, KENG LIK’s father, is in hospital. He has some chest pain but the doctors still do not know what is wrong with him. He is now at the General Hospital, Level 5, Bed 2 at the CRW (Coronary Rehabilitation Ward – Wad Pemulihan Jantung). Please note that visitation hours on weekends are from 12.30-7.30pm but visitation hours on weekdays are 12-2pm and 4.30-7.30pm
Pray for wisdom for the doctors to diagnose him accurately. They will be running further tests tomorrow.
Pray also that his discomfort and pain may ease.
Pray for speedy recovery
Pray for Keng Lik, Keng Yearn, Ching Ai, Cheng Fern and Cheng Li as well as Aunty Say Yem – pray that they may have the peace of God in their hearts and that their faith in Him may be strengthened.
Pray that Uncle Barry may experience a touch from God and know the reality of God’s salvation through this experience.
Pray that he may experience God’s love through our prayers.
2) Soo Churn Haw, youth leader from Melawati Gospel Centre, has been diagnosed with cancer.
Please pray for quick recovery and healing.

Last week Sam had a bad stomach pain and the doctors admitted him on suspicion of appendicitis and……. appendicitis it was. So he had an operation almost immediately. We thank God that he had a very successful operation and is now ok
Awwwww…. ain’t he cute? And don’t you like the Hello Kitty balloon?
A group of his school friends visited him when we were there and gave this to him. Our youth visited him too later but I wasn’t there to take any pics.

I wanted to give the photo credits to the right person – all of these pics except for the last seven (taken by me), were taken by a particular person who didn’t want the photo credits……
Marcus, where are the pics you took?
I think it was a good day for a picnic – it was raining along the way to FRIM but there was no rain at FRIM itself.
Jennifer Chew conducted a game for all of us
