Promise of a life time January 30, 2008

This song is shared by Keng Lik ………..
Song name : Promise of a life time
Artist : Kutless
This is really a very meaningful song for me and I would like to share it with the youth. This song reminds me that God is always there for me,
He is there to hear my prayers when I am down,
He shows me His way through His Word,
When I listen to His word, I will never be left behind or walk astray,
There is hope in life when I have Jesus,
And most important of all, Jesus has promised us eternity where we will be with Him.

The return of Tony Anthony January 21, 2008

Come this March, Tony Anthony, the author of the book ‘Taming the Tiger’, will be back in Malaysia for another big outreach event. This is his second time to Malaysia for such an event, and I personally was very inspired by the man on his last visit to here in 2007. Since he will also be coming to our church to speak on Easter, I expect all of us to be informed about and involved in these coming events. For more information on Tony and his life story; as well as the upcoming events, please visit www.tonyanthonymalaysia.com.
Or you can just read these posts.
Comment by Aunty V: Errr…. sorry Jee Yann, I didn’t quite give you the exact details, actually, it will be Jamie Kidd, Tony’s associate who will be taking our meeting on March 29th – time and place yet to be confirmed. More details soon.
Youth Dinner @ Look Out Point on 19th Jan January 20, 2008

The WHOLE youth group The youth who went for the meeting yesterday all went out together to makan at Look-Out Point. It started to drizzle slightly as we left and I’d prayed that God would spare us from getting wet by allowing the rain to subside as we arrived. It was raining pretty heavily after we got into the cars but the rain had not reached the Look-Out Point yet when we arrived! Praise God, we remained dry as we got out of our cars
Here are some pics:
Heavy rain in KL seen from Look Out Point.
Some of the youth.
dormiens edit:
Praise God too; that even though I was made to drive a manual gear transmission van with 9 people up a hill on an empty fuel tank, we still got there safely. Join us next time for a fun-filled episode of meaningful fellowship.
Reconstruction January 20, 2008

The agc.youth blog is undergoing some facelifts. In other words, we are trying to make it look more youth-friendly and youth-like. Bear with us and soon enough we’ll have a nice website to browse through. Feel free to leave your comment here on how you think improvements to the blog’s appearance can be made. We’ll consider your opinions. If they’re nice, of course.
Update:
Reconstruction has entered phase IDK (I Don’t Know), and so far so good. Next steps include changing the blog banner to the ‘Mad 4 Jesus’ logo; touching up the ‘Meet the Youth’ page, and possibly any other changes which might smoothen blog-browsing. I’ve already linked all the youth blogs I know, so please speak up in the comments if you were left out. Not that I’d do that on purpose.
Please, comment on just about anything you want to see improved on this blog. Thanks!
Update #2:
The ‘Meet the Youth’ page is already up, and all I have to do is to await the good people to send in their pictures. Then there’s the banner. One step at a time, nice and easy does it. Yay.
Update #3:
I understand that the photos on the ‘Meet the Youth’ page aren’t exactly of high quality. Maybe they were when you guys sent them to me, but I pretty much did a bad job editing them. So, we’ll work on them as soon as possible. Also as soon as all of you guys send your pictures to me. Thanks.
Update #4:
Oh! A lot better looking now! Banner and ‘Meet the Youth’ page credits to teh one and only Yvonne (typo intended). Up next, to work on the ‘About Us’ page. Considering putting up more pages for dedicated material like announcements or worship roster. Please, leave your comments.

Please be informed! We are having our youth meeting at AGCC (Chinese Church) this Saturday at 3.30pm. Address is 19 Jalan Rasmi 7, Taman Rasmi Jaya.
And after that at 5:30pm, we are all heading to the Gasoline restaurant at the Look-Out point on the road to Ulu Langat. Kindly obtain permission from your parents beforehand; we expect to be back by 9.30pm. Just need to bring RM10. Those who have $$$ problems can ask Uncle Allan la
You can also invite your parents to join us. They can meet us at AGCC at 5.30pm and we’ll be off together.

dormiens edit:
The RM10 you bring for dinner will be sufficient to buy a rice dish and a normal drink like iced lemon tea. For those who want lamb chop and drinks with names like ‘Love a Stranger’, bring double the amount of money instead.
